Cassie’s future as a hairstylist

Of course this happens when Steve heads out of town.  Neither of us like to have things happen on "our watch".  Cassie walks into my office and asks for a pair of scissors so that she can do a craft. Considering she's never done anything "bad" with scissors before, I told her where to find the craft scissors (you know, the blunt ones that can't cut butter much less paper??).  Mackenzie comes running to me 10 minutes later to tell me that "CASSIE CUT HER HAIR!!!".  Sigh….  here's the result of her work:

Luckily, Penny was able to fit us in for an emergency repair job the next day.  At least we have a few weeks before school starts for it to grow out! Actually, it's very cute and we just call it her "summer cut"!
