If you’re in the NC/VA area, you’re going to want to take note of this giveaway… the VIRginia International Raceway is hosting its first NASCAR event this weekend – the Biscuitville 125! The NASCAR K&N Pro Series is the top step in NASCAR’s developmental ladder before drivers make the jump to the three top-ranking national series. VIR’s exciting North Course is 2.25 miles long with 22 turns and 100 feet of elevation changes.
According to their press kit, VIR offers complementary amenities such as lodging, dining, a spa, an exclusive driver’s club, karting, off-road racing, skeet shooting, skid pad and more. The grounds also offer a unique setting and specialized facilities for corporate retreats, group activities and conference space. On-site parcels are available for sale/lease to motorsports industry tenants. For more information visits www.VIRnow.com, like them on Facebook or follow them on Twitter.
The team at the VIR reached out to me and asked if I’d like to take the family up for a day of family fun and experiences at what they call “the country club of racing”! Tickets are reasonably priced for this weekend’s race: $15 for one day or $20 for both Friday and Saturday. Kids 12 and under are free.
I’ll have a full review after I go up there but I’m anxious to see if there’s enough to entertain those of us in our group that aren’t NASCAR fans. Looking at their site, I’m optimistic that there WILL be something for everyone.
Since I’m heading up with my crew to see all that they have to offer I thought that it would be even more fun to share the experience with one of you! I have TWO tickets to give away to one lucky reader. Entering is simple.. the only “required” step is to sign up for the newsletter.. all the other options are gravy!
I’ll announce the winner on Wednesday afternoon and your tickets will be at the “will call” window at the raceway. Good luck!!
