Kids In the Front Seat….
Interesting that I stumbled upon this article today as it was a discussion in our car on the way to school this morning. We still don’t know how to protect kids in cars, poll says We know that the rule of thumb in NC is “8 and 80″ for a booster seat (and at this rate, Cassie will never be out of a booster seat) but the law or rule of thumb for when a kid can ride in the front seat is a bit more vague. There are suggestions (13 for the most part) but I’ve yet to find a firm rule or law. The oldest rides in the front seat and I’m fine with that.. she’s 5’5″ and as of tomorrow (another story), will be 13. I get a little skittish when the middle one climbs up there.
