Most of us have heard this saying from a very young age. Whether it was the response to comfort the loss of a pet hamster no longer running the wheel or the first case of heartbreak, it’s these words that are most often spoken. And while time does help, we all know now that it does not heal ALL wounds. I still remember the pain of losing my Grandmother almost 16 years ago and today on the 4th anniversary of my dad’s passing, yep – the pain’s still there. It’s not as bad as it was on that beautiful, sunny day but it’s still there.  It’s there when we have family functions and birthday celebrations.
